Still a good app, Devs are doing a good job keeping it up to date. Though they seem to need to remember to keep it associated with iPod touch 5th generations.
I like the look of this app over other character sheet apps by far. Ive had a couple of crashes while attempting to reorder details, but otherwise no complaints :)
This app though it can seem intimidating at first, is a beautiful thing to work with. It takes a little playing around much like when you get a new smart phone or tablet that you have to learn. However once you get the hang of it this really streamlines the RPG game process. It is just beautiful as far as getting all the information into the game that you need. With hyperlinking for the rest. Highly recommend!
I dont get the negative reviews. This app allows you to tailor to any rpg game. I can only conclude that the users that didnt like it are pretty low on the tech level. I would like to ask that we can print out the sheets to hand to the dm/gm and likewise save as an image file.
Personally, Im really enjoying this app for its purpose. If you could add these things, this would hands down be a near-consummate character sheet app.
-Having more than one attribute modifier per entry (Like having an attribute be a counter and a toggle)
-More options in regard to attributes (like having the stepper be able to show fractions (What I mean here is like current/total, to better represent a health counter and whole numbers, and giving text boxes the option to show their text, instead of only hiding it behind an expand button, or having the regular text box but also having an abridged version of the full text.)
Other than improving on what youve got, I have no qualms with this app. Keep going forward.
This is the app I was looking for GMing. It works flawlessly and is very clean and usefull
Some bad moments
This app is extremely complicated to use very hard to customize your character and every time you try and add attribute or change your weapon a glitches out like I said its a great idea but at this point I really wish I could just get my money back because it was not worth the eight dollars that I spent hopefully some New updates will fix some of these bugs but this is not ideal for Dungeons & Dragons character sheet its by far too much work to add everything that you need in to run a real game
I understand that this is supposed to be system agnostic. The result, though, is a really expensive "custom" sheet. It actually is easier for me to use pen and paper than this app.
Awkward to use, options in no way obvious or useful, and clunky
As the description entails this app can be used for all paper rpg type... it is as useful as Microsoft word. The app just allows you to make labels and add text. But dont worry folks for 8$ you can add pictures to your labeled words. Save your self a buck and use a text program
Developer should be more descriptive about the app. Every aspect of the sheet must be entered manually.a No automatic calculations at all.
The idea is there but the execution leaves something to be desired. Spent the money thinking Id get a polished working app. Bugs bugs bugs Ill save changes just to watch them disappear. Re arrange items in a list only to have them snap back in place or snap somewhere random. Tried typing in bold font then switched to italic only to have it switch back to bold every single keystroke. Yup I had to click off bold and click back on italic before every single letter. Its these kinds of bugs that are driving me mad and the app is full of them. Ive uninstalled and re installed to no avail. The app also gets laggy and when clicking on a sheet Ill wait three four seconds for it to open. My iPad is new and all apps work fine but this one. Very disappointed.
